Sandra and Anthony have been passionate supporters of the Christian charity, ‘Send A Cow’ since it started in 1988.
‘Send a Cow’ runs sustainable agricultural programmes which help small-scale farmers, mainly women, overcome poverty and malnutrition.
It began by sending pregnant cows by plane to Uganda, a country struggling after years of civil war.
‘Send a Cow’ now provides hope and health to thousands of households in seven African countries.
All those we work with pass on the benefits they gain, such as livestock and skills, to another family, so our work goes on multiplying throughout communities.
