Walks & Conservation |
|
The farm combines its crop production with numerous conservation areas, with woodland, ponds and Whetstone Brook meandering through the middle.
Much of the area is managed under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
Although many hedges have been removed in the last 60 years, there is still an excellent network of well-managed hedges.
In addition to the public footpaths crossing the south of the farm, public access is available via two permissive footpaths, one starting by the bridge at the turn towards Countesthorpe from the A426, and the other starting where Banbury Lane meets the Countesthorpe- Willoughby Waterleys Road. |
